Sometimes I feel like I have eight arms and this pen is my ninth *so* before
it gets caught on the coral
and shreds into pieces like the whole of me I realize
that maybe the rest aren’t needed and pull them off to curl them round my waist and fool me it’s him
* oh *
If only
he realized I’d given up on him years ago.

the earthworm eating through the ash absorbing thoughts, re-living and realizing that the truth of the matter is that is nothing mattered anyway

You bleach my insides with your cradle swaying in the swaddling starlight.
This world pulls me down and in the darkness I cocoon myself between flowers
The light will destroy
but later, longer and here we linger to throw it all up and emerge positively perfect * If only for a while

Fake.FakeFake.
The play has one focus area, simple, and somewhat complicated in its surroundings. Our main focus is a white garden table, upstage, centre, with a peach parasol erected above it, which is light from the front of the stage by a spotlight, lighting up the playing area and drawing our focus towards it.
Many more tables of the same size and shape, with equally as unattractive parasols surround the table. All are empty but the main table, which, has two steel, rusted chairs around it. Sitting on those chairs are our two main characters.
The lighting used has a slight orange tint to it. The chitter-chatte
